I really do enjoy cooking. Just love reading recipes books am always on the look out for interesting recipe books. Pages and pages full of brightly coloured pictures of tempting dishes whether they be old favourites from my child hood or new and exciting ones yet to try!!!!
Learning spices and techniques does take time and I must admit often does not turn out but practice, practice and a little experimenting goes a long way in learning to perfect dishes and tastes..

TYPICAL PANCAKES

TYPICAL PANCAKES
A yummy breakfast for a lazy morning at home. Serve with anything you like. Strawberries and cream, maple syrup, lemon and sugar, greek yoghurt and honey, chocolate syrup and nuts. The list is endless, the choice is yours!!!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
2 cups of self raising flour
2 cups of milk
2 eggs
pinch of salt
Aprox 60grams melted butter
Extra butter to use in pan

WHAT YOU DO:
1. In a large mixing bowl add the flour and salt.
2. Separately Combine the milk and eggs and mix into flour.
3. Mix in the melted butter till combined and cover and allow to rest for 30 mins.
4. Heat a flat pan and brush with some melted butter.
5. Place spoonfuls of the mixture( pancakes are thicker then crepes) onto the warm pan and when you start to see the edges turn golden brown and bubbles form on the surface then flip the pancake.
6. When other side is slighlty golden brown then remove the pancake and serve warm with your desired topping.
