Welcome to my humble little kitchen...
I really do enjoy cooking. Just love reading recipes books am always on the look out for interesting recipe books. Pages and pages full of brightly coloured pictures of tempting dishes whether they be old favourites from my child hood or new and exciting ones yet to try!!!!
Learning spices and techniques does take time and I must admit often does not turn out but practice, practice and a little experimenting goes a long way in learning to perfect dishes and tastes..

Indian Style French Toast

INDIAN STYLE FRENCH TOAST
An Indian twist on classic french toast. A quick and tasty anytime snack. (Photo to come)

WHAT YOU NEED:
6 slices of bread ( your choice white or wholemeal)
3 eggs
1/4 cup cream or milk
salt to taste
1 onion finely diced
1 tomato finely diced
1 green chilli - finely diced
Coriander - finely diced
black pepper - optional
ghee or butter for frying

WHAT YOU DO:
1. Whisk egg, creamor milk and salt and pepper.
2. Add the onions, tomato, green chilli and coriander and stir.
3. Heat pan and add the ghee or butter. Place a slice  of the bread down and spoon some of the egg mixture on to the top and let cook till egg is nearly cooked. Flip and finish the cooking.
4. Serve hot
