I really do enjoy cooking. Just love reading recipes books am always on the look out for interesting recipe books. Pages and pages full of brightly coloured pictures of tempting dishes whether they be old favourites from my child hood or new and exciting ones yet to try!!!!
Learning spices and techniques does take time and I must admit often does not turn out but practice, practice and a little experimenting goes a long way in learning to perfect dishes and tastes..

CAULIFLOWER CURRY

CAULIFLOWER CURRY
A quick and easy dinner. Delicious with rice or chapati.....

WHAT YOU NEED:
Large cauliflower chopped up into small pieces.
Generous pinch of mustard seeds and cumin seeds
pinch of turmeric
red chillli powder ( to taste)
salt (to taste)
1 generous tsp of ginger/garlic
little oil
little ghee or butter.

WHAT YOU DO:
1. Heat oil and butter/ghee in pan and add the mustard seeds and allow to splutter followed by the cumin seeds.
2. Add the cauliflower and the ginger/garlic paste mix to cook with the butter/oil/
3. Fry the cauliflower and add the turmeric and red chilli powder.
4. Add a little more butter and keep frying the cauliflower till cooked.
5. Salt to taste and serve with hot rice or chapati.
