Welcome to my humble little kitchen...
I really do enjoy cooking. Just love reading recipes books am always on the look out for interesting recipe books. Pages and pages full of brightly coloured pictures of tempting dishes whether they be old favourites from my child hood or new and exciting ones yet to try!!!!
Learning spices and techniques does take time and I must admit often does not turn out but practice, practice and a little experimenting goes a long way in learning to perfect dishes and tastes..

Breggy Bread

BREGGY BREAD (EGGS ON BREAD)
My daughter named this one breggy bread. 1 plus 1 equals 2 and bread plus egg equals breggy simple she said!!!
A great protein rich brekky!!!!


WHAT YOU NEED:
1 egg (per person) or 2 if the eggs are small.
Dash of cream or milk (per person)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 tomato (per person)
1/4 onion (per person)
2 slices of bread (white, wholemeal, multi grain - your choice) per person
Butter for frying

WHAT YOU DO:
1. Whisk the eggs, cream or milk, salt and pepper till combined.
2. Finely cut the onion and tomatos and add this to the egg mix.
3. Heat pan and add the butter and allow to gentle melt.
4. Once pan is hot place the slices of bread on pan and allow to slowly toast for a min then pour some of the egg/tomato batter onto eash slice and cook for a further min or two then flip and cook till done.
5. Serve hot alone of with tomato ketchup.
